Dr. Rahmat Edi Irawan earned his undergraduate degree in History Education from the History Education Study Program at IKIP Jakarta, Indonesia. After completing his bachelor’s degree, he pursued further studies in the field of Communication Science at Universitas Mercu Buana, Jakarta, Indonesia, where he deepened his academic expertise in media and communication studies.
Dr. Rahmat Edi Irawan has built a long-standing professional career in the media industry, beginning in 1994 and continuing to the present day. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience across various media platforms, including print media, television broadcasting, and new media platforms.
He specializes in sports broadcasting and has been actively involved in covering numerous national and international sporting events. His professional experience includes major multi-sport events such as the Asian Games, Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), and Indonesia’s National Sports Week (Pekan Olahraga Nasional – PON).
In addition to his role in sports broadcasting, Dr. Rahmat Edi Irawan has also worked as a television presenter for both news programs and sports programs on national television. His experience in front of the camera and within the broadcast industry has provided him with deep insights into media production, journalism, and sports communication.
Beyond his professional work in the media industry, Dr. Rahmat Edi Irawan is also active as a speaker in various seminars and academic forums related to the media industry, particularly television broadcasting in Indonesia.
