The Public Relations Laboratory at BINUS University’s Kemanggisan and Alam Sutera campuses is where communication ideas are transformed into real-world strategies. Designed as an immersive learning environment, the lab enables students in the Marketing Communication Program to experience what it’s like to work as professional public relations practitioners.

Throughout their practicum, students explore the dynamic world of public relations by planning integrated communication campaigns, monitoring media conversations, developing corporate communication strategies, and creating engaging brand experiences.

Students are actively involved in every stage of the communication process, from writing compelling press releases and crafting corporate messaging to designing digital campaigns, planning social media engagement, organizing brand activation programs, and conducting press conference simulations. They also gain hands-on experience in media monitoring, stakeholder communication, and sustainability-driven communication initiatives that reflect today’s industry standards.

Collaboration is at the heart of every practicum. Working in teams, students take on professional roles such as Public Relations Officer, Corporate Communication Specialist, Brand Strategist, Media Relations Executive, Social Media Planner, Campaign Manager, and Communication Consultant.

By integrating industry practices with experiential learning, the Public Relations Laboratory prepares students to become future-ready communication professionals who are ready to contribute across corporations, agencies, government institutions, startups, non-profit organizations, and the ever-evolving digital communication industry.
