The Broadcasting Laboratory at BINUS University’s Alam Sutera Campus serves as a creative production hub where students in the Digital Media Communication Program develop their skills in digital storytelling, multimedia production, and cross-platform broadcasting. This facility is tailored to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving media industry, blending theory with intensive hands-on practice in a modern, digital-first environment.
Students engage in the full spectrum of production processes—from pre-production planning, scriptwriting, and directing to technical execution such as camera operation, sound design, live switching, and post-production editing. The lab encourages students to produce innovative content suited for television, YouTube, podcasts, web series, and emerging online formats.
Collaborative projects are a core part of the learning experience, allowing students to take on industry-relevant roles such as digital producer, creative director, on-air talent, content strategist, or social media video editor. The Alam Sutera Lab also supports students in experimenting with short films, live streaming formats, and branded content production.
