Virtual Lab Mass Communication BINUS @Kemanggisan
Mass Communication Laboratory Binus @Kemanggisan
The Broadcasting Laboratory at BINUS University is designed to immerse students in the dynamic world of creative broadcasting across diverse media platforms—ranging from traditional (television and radio) to digital (online and new media). This lab equips students with the practical skills and theoretical foundation needed to thrive in various roles within the media industry, such as scriptwriter, production assistant, program director, non-drama director, editor, switcher, camera operator, executive producer, production manager, or even as founders of production houses and digital media startups.
Through hands-on experience with BINUS TV—a campus-based television platform recognized for its alignment with national broadcast standards—students gain real-world insights into how professional broadcasting environments operate. They are actively involved in producing visual content, from concept development to post-production, which is then distributed across multiple media channels.
The Broadcasting Lab fosters both individual creativity and collaborative production processes, preparing students to contribute meaningfully to the evolving media landscape, whether in conventional broadcast environments or emerging digital platforms.
