Tri Adi Sumbogo was born in 1983 in Magelang. He has been a lecturer and researcher at the Communication Department, Bina Nusantara University, since 2014. Tri was achieved a bachelor’s degree in Communication Science at the Communication Department, Unsoed Purwokerto. In 2013 he successfully passed the Master of National Resilience, School of Strategic and Global Studies, University of Indonesia. Currently, Tri is pursuing a doctoral degree in the Postgraduate Communication Program at the University of Indonesia. He has a passion and research interest in themes around community development, community media, cultural activism, human rights, and sustainability issues. Tri is also an activist for the Kafein Association (Pengkaji Filem Indonesia) and Amerta Association (CSR and community development practitioners). He was one of the founders of establishing the multidisciplinary researcher cooperative Archie in 2021.
