Muslikhin completed his undergraduate education at the Jakarta State University (formerly IKIP Jakarta) majoring in Indonesian Language and Literature Education in 1994. From November 1994 to November 31, 2020 Muslikhin worked on one of the national private TV stations, Indosiar, or for 26 years. While working on television, Muslikhin in 2011 continued his Masters in Communication Studies at Paramadina University Jakarta on a Medco Foundation scholarship, and graduated in 2013. In 2015 until now he teaches at the Department of Communication Sciences, Bina Nusantara University (Binus) Jakarta for courses related to journalism and broadcasting. . Apart from being a lecturer, starting in 2019, Muslikhin has become the Head of the Binus TV Broadcasting Laboratory. In 2018 he continued his education to the Communication Science Doctoral Program at the Postgraduate FIKOM UNPAD and finished in February 2022.
